2014 POST CONVENTION POP-UP TATTOOER DINNER
At the closing of the 2014 Bay Area Convention of the Tattoo Arts we will be hosting a private pop-up dinner & movie in celebration of the comradeship within the international tattoo community. The event will be held at the ATAK workspace & gallery in San Francisco on Sunday, Oktober 26th from 8pm to 12am.
As is often the case, at the end of a convention comrades are clamoring to find a place for everyone to gather and share a late Sunday night dinner. Sometimes it works out, often time not so much. This event offers a place where you will be surrounded exclusively by those within the craft all sharing a great meal.
Dinner will be offered in three courses with carnivore & vegan options, desert, wine, beer, mixed drinks, water, & oxygen. We are excited to be working with several San Francisco chefs on developing a seasonal & local market based menu; see below.
The films slated for the evening are 'Sex & Fury' & 'Battles Without Honor & Humanity'. Additionally, musical accompaniment will also be offered by pianist Donald Lee. Last but not least, a section of works from the BloodWork: Bodies project will be on view within the space.
Cost for dinner is $70.00. Includes amuse-bouche, appetizer, intermezzo, entrée, & desert. Pre-dinner drinks will be offered at the bar as well as throughout the evening.
It is suggested that you reserve & pay in advance but it is not required to attend. If you prefer, after you've wrapped up at the convention, you are welcome to arrive at about 8pm and pay at the door. However, space is limited to forty persons so it is suggested that you secure your seat at the table asap. Additionally, we tried our best to invite everyone attending the convention. If we missed anyone in your crew please extend this invite to them as well. We look forward to convivial & entertaining evening with everyone.
