In Thai tradition, water poured from a conch shell is used to bestow blessings during sacred ceremonies, most notably weddings, where it is gently poured over the hands of the couple as a wish for prosperity and harmony. In this painting, that ritual is reimagined through Thungsa Devi, the Sunday Nang Songkran. As dawn arrives, she pours blessings from the conch upon those still asleep, inviting them to awaken with hope, clarity, and the grace to begin a new day.

Rather than appearing in traditional royal attire, Thungsa Devi is adorned in FEMMENATION’s sculptural Poly Clay look from the Silver Flower Collection.
