Born 1972 in Barcelona, Ramon Maiden has never felt bound anywhere & as such has traveled extensively. Rarely focuses on anything too specific, Ramon prefers to progress by experimenting with different sources.

His training as a social worker, passion for traveling, family history, & visual art influences are all strikingly diverse & not at all uniform. With no formal art training his ideas & inspiration sources are all dynamic & changing as well as techniques & methods employed.

Difficult to define, constantly moving, growing, modified on the fly. His work is imbued with ancient history & religions, the world wars, Victorian era, American 20’s, & world politics.
